Frank Monner founded the company in 1890 and moved it to Salem in 1925. His son Ernest took over in 1943 and ran it until the business was incorporated in 1976. His son-in-law Terry Watson took over. It is one of the oldest shops of its kind in Oregon, and the only one within an hour of Salem.

The company is still family owned and operated, the fabric is still cut and sewn in the same Salem shop, and our own crew still does the installs.

That is also why we repair and recover awnings we didn’t build. A sound frame is worth saving, and more than a century of looking at frames tells you which ones are. Bring us the job. We’ll measure it, quote it, and make it here.
