Stayton sits at the mouth of the Santiam canyon, and what comes down out of the Cascades is harder than what the valley floor gets. More rain, and wind that arrives with a direction behind it. A cover specified for a sheltered back patio in town can do fine for two seasons out here and then start telling you about it. That is worth sorting out before anything gets built, which is one of the reasons we measure on site instead of quoting off a photo.
