West-Facing Windows On River Road
A lot of the Keizer housing stock is older and sits with large windows facing west. Those rooms are comfortable nine months of the year and unusable by four in the afternoon in July. A fixed window awning stops the sun before it reaches the glass, which gets you a different result than a blind that stops it after. Same idea over a back deck, where a retractable gives you shade in August and folds away when you want the sun back in March.
